The Short Version: Local Password Vault is designed so that I have no access to your data. Your vault is stored locally on your device, encrypted with keys I never see. I cannot read, access, or sell your passwords because I never receive them.

When you purchase a license, I receive your email address and payment confirmation from our payment processor (Stripe). This information is used solely to deliver your license and provide purchase-related support.
If you contact me for support, I retain our email correspondence to provide effective assistance and maintain support records. This includes your email address and the content of your messages.
If you sign up for a free trial, I collect your email address to deliver your trial license and send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time.
Local Password Vault uses AES-256-GCM encryption with Argon2id key derivation. Your vault is encrypted on your device before it's ever saved. The encryption key is derived from your master password, which I never see or store.
